Yesterday was my second consecutive Saturday shooting for a short film I’m in called Never Take Your Eyes Off The Prize. I play Resisco, the lead singer of a band, who struggles between following his dreams and providing for his family. It may be a bit of a stretch for me.

After a long day of shooting indoors, I rushed home to enjoy the beautiful summer weather and spend time with Chelsea and Skyler by the pool. Sky has really taken to swimming; he’s not afraid of the water at all.

On Friday, the three of us went for a hike but had to cut it short because it was simply too hot. Last week, temperatures reached almost 40°C (100°F for my American friends). Need I remind you that we live in Canada? Global Warming is real, people. Just look how sweaty we are! (And, yes, for some strange reason, I did make that face on purpose).

As for next weekend, I’ll be shooting my first music video ever for my song Doctor, Please. For those who have been listening since the Euphoria’s Depression days, there’s going to be a major throwback so look out for that. We’re planning to have it ready for the official physical release of It’s Not An Excuse, It’s A Reason this Fall. Stoked!
