It’s March and my birthday is next Saturday! I can’t believe I’ll be twenty-one soon… For some reason, I don’t think my son believes me.
I had such an amazing week. I finished a six week Scene Study acting workshop in Toronto. I learned so much and met some incredibly talented people. I’ve always had a strong passion for performing but, over the last few years, my acting ambitions have sort of taken a backseat to my musical endeavors. That is no longer the case. Life is what you make it and I am filling it with all of the things that I love. Lucky for me, I get to combine my love of music, film and acting into what will be my first music video! Pre-production on Doctor, Please will take place in April and we’re aiming for a mid-May shoot date. Expect a short film, not a commercial.
This Fall will also see the physical release of my debut album It’s Not An Excuse, It’s A Reason and the accompanying making-of documentary Walking Proof. Here’s a photo of the film’s director, Matthew Dorman, getting ready to kill me last night for making him spend 14 hours straight editing the documentary trailer!
Just one more week or so and you’ll be able to see it! Until then, you can ponder the social and political significance of The Number Three.
