Walking Proof Nominated for Independent Music Award

Earlier this week, I was working up a sweat at the gym when I received an email that congratulated me for having my album documentary Walking Proof nominated for Best Long Form Video at the 13th Annual Independent Music Awards!

I immediately called Chelsea to share the good news. I’m sure I was speaking quickly which I do on a regular basis but even more so when I’m either in a good mood or I’ve had too much caffeine. Come to think of it, I feel like those two things are not exactly independent of one another.

There are two awards I’m nominated for. If you’d like to help me win the “Vox Pop” (fan choice) award, you can do so here: Vote for Walking Proof at the 13th Annual IMA’s! If you haven’t seen the documentary yet, it’s available exclusively with the limited physical version of It’s Not An Excuse, It’s A Reason in DVD format.
