Bridge The Atlantic
March 15, 2015
A few months ago, I launched a video podcast called Bridge The Atlantic with my good friend and favourite Scotsman Ross Barber of Electric Kiwi. The show is “a humorous and insightful exploration of the creative industries, directly from those who are working within it.” We launched in October 2014 and have since interviewed some amazingly talented musicians, actors, artists, filmmakers, photographers and more.
A couple of years ago after my first television interview, I thought it would be cool to find a platform to chat with other artists and share their work with people. Being increasingly busy having just become a first-time dad and not being exactly sure how to go about it, the idea fell from my conscious mind and slipped not-so-deep into my subconscious. Fast forward two years and the podcast format made sense so I contacted Ross who had also been wanting to start a podcast for a while and here we are!
We’ve received such a great response on not only the audio version of the show that’s strictly available on iTunes but also the visual version that gets uploaded to our YouTube channel every Tuesday. We not only broke the iTunes top 100 but also made the New & Noteworthy section which is simply amazing and couldn’t have been done without the support of those around us. If you haven’t checked out the show yet, please do so now!
If you’d like to help us continue to climb the charts and grow our audience so we can continue to interview amazingly talented (and hilarious) guests, please subscribe to us on iTunes and rate and review the show. You can also subscribe to the video version of the show on YouTube, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook. Thanks a ton!
